OUR STORY

Perhaps you or someone you know has experienced the sudden, totally unexpected loss of a spouse or parent or significant other. My husband died of a massive heart attack in our side yard while mowing the lawn. We were planning to leave the following day for an overseas trip with our daughter. As far as his doctor knew, as far as I knew, he was in good health. Obviously not. And even though I was very involved in our family's financial life, there was much I did not know of my husband's filing and safekeeping strategies. I am still finding important documents years after his untimely passing.

But, whether or not you ever face such daunting challenges, a lifelong disciplined system of personal document management is critical in ensuring a sense of security and peace of mind for you and your loved ones. Newlyweds, not-so-newlyweds, seniors, baby boomers, gen Xers, generation Ys, and millenials will all breathe a little easier knowing your vital personal information and essential life documents are in order and easily accessible at a moment's notice.
